Sterile Processing Tech PRN Night Shift

About the role

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by ensuring every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team committed to the care and improvement of human life—one surgery at a time.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries

Requirements

• High School Graduate / GED
• (CRCST) Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or (CSPDT) Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• No prior experience required
