About the role
This position is within the Sterile Processing Services department at Navicent Health Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate sterilization of equipment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education courses.
Requirements
- Certification Required: Sterile Processing Technician Certification preferred, but if not certified, must be able to sit for certification within 12 months of hire or as soon as 400 hours of hands on care needed to become eligible to sit for exam are accomplished. Must maintain certification once it is obtained.
- Education Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Pay
Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training.
