Sterile Processing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians by preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, wrapping, and organizing supplies
• Assist with patient care, including admitting, discharge, restraint, and hygiene
• Help with lab sample preparation, radiology, and anesthesia procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of hospital areas, equipment, and sterilization processes
• Operate digital radiography equipment and manage medical records accurately
• Assist with client interactions, documenting conversations, and providing support during exams and procedures
• Restock supplies and perform daily cleaning duties
• Recognize limits of knowledge, seek assistance when needed, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of customer service in a medical setting; veterinary experience preferred
• Reliable, independent, proactive, and eager to grow professionally
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual skills a plus
• Ability to work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and collaborate effectively
