Sterile Pharmacist: Morning (6AM - 2:30PM)

Responsibilities
- Compound prescriptions with precision and care, strictly adhering to USP <797> and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Verify the accuracy of prescriptions and ensure timely and accurate medication verification and distribution.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to manage medication orders, records, and the sterile compounding workflow.
- Oversee and replenish medication supplies, managing inventory related to sterile products.
- Engage in research activities to improve compounding techniques, develop new formulations, or investigate emerging therapies.
Requirements
- Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License issued by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
- Current Sterile Compounding Certification.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in sterile pharmacy practice.
- Expert proficiency in USP <797> standards for sterile compounding and adherence to relevant cGMP regulations.
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills for team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- IV Certification (strongly preferred).
- Experience working in a 503A or 503B specialized compounding environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting.
- Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
