Support pharmacy operations
- Support compounding sterile products according to USP 797 guidelines
- Formulate compounded products, weigh out powders, calculate quantities, etc.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory
- Help place medication orders
- Maintain accurate prescription and physician order records
- Follow safety, cleanliness, and infection-control procedures
- Aid with reports, billing charges, and other pharmacy support tasks
- Assist with additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
- 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- MUST BE STERILE CERTIFIED
