About the role
The William S. Webb Museum of Anthropology and Office of State Archaeology seeks a temporary Museum Project Assistant to assist with reorganizing museum storage and laboratory spaces.
Responsibilities
- Assembling shelving
- Relocating cabinets and equipment
- Moving archaeological collections and museum materials
- Aiding with facility improvement projects
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Use of hand and basic power tools
- Strong attention to detail and handling of fragile materials with care
- Following written and verbal instructions
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Learning and operating the Museum’s Work Assist Vehicle (WAV)

Benefits
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Shift: 1st shift Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM.
Pay
$12.00/hr - $15.00/hr
