About the Role
The collector will rotate on-call shifts with the CVBR team to collect specimens outside of normal business hours. Responsibilities include collecting tissue and blood from inpatient areas and processing them for storage and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Rotate on-call shifts to collect specimens outside of normal business hours.
- Collect tissue and blood samples from inpatient areas.
- Process specimens for storage and inventory.
Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice), HSP (Human Subjects Protection), RCR (Responsible Conduct of Research), and biospecimen handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Research background.
Pay
$15/hour base pay + $5/hour on-call rate.
Schedule
Shift varies based on need.
