STEP (Temporary) Registered Respiratory Therapist $70/ Hour

Where in Mosaic will I work?

Respiratory Therapists will be in the Respiratory department at Saint Joseph.

Who is eligible to participate in this program?

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two years of experience are eligible.
• Former caregivers of Mosaic must have not worked for Mosaic for at least six months to be eligible for the STEP program.

Duties

• Evaluates and assesses patient’s respiratory needs to make recommendations.
• Administers medications and treatments based on patient outcomes.
• Delivers and assesses patient response to ordered therapy.
• Makes sure to monitor, record and communicate patients condition and response to stimuli.
• Provides patient education for disease, medications and treatment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent;
• Graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program approved by the NBRC, where clinical rotations were completed.
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and RCP - Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support within 6 months of hire
• 2 years experience required.
