Responsibilities

• Assists provider with cardiovascular procedures
• Maintains knowledge/expertise of all cardiovascular procedures
• Safely transports patients preoperative to the operating room
• Positions patients for the operative procedure and transports to post-operative area
• Maintains and monitors aseptic technique
• Performs advanced computer operations and clerical functions

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred
• Completion of AART, RCIS, or RN program required
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Nurse, or ARRT Radiology Tech license preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Two years’ experience in OR, Cath Lab or Special Procedures required
