Responsibilities
- Leading interactive STEM lessons and activities
- Serving as a positive mentor and role model
- Preparing lesson materials and supplies
- Supporting family engagement and special events
- Tracking attendance and student participation
- Collaborating with school and community partners
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Passion for STEM, technology, education, or youth development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Experience working with youth is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Schedule & Location
- This part-time position runs from September 2026 through June 2027.
- September includes paid onboarding and training, with student programming beginning in October.
- Instructors typically work 8-20 hours per week and may be assigned to one or more program sites throughout Greater Lowell.
Hiring Process
- Qualified candidates will participate in a phone screening followed by an interview with program leadership.
- Final candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings, including a CORI/SORI background check and drug screening.
Salary
$20 - $30 per hour
