About the role

Since 2007, iKids U has been the go-to after-school care franchise, offering a whirlwind of educational adventures designed to supercharge children's growth. We're reinventing after-school care, making it a breeze for parents and school administrators, while keeping it exciting for the kids.

Responsibilities

• Work shirts provided
• Opportunity for advancement
• Maintain a consistent, weekly teaching schedule
• Experience working with children in a group setting like camps, workshops, coaching, child therapy, substitute teaching, teaching assistant, instructional assistant, floating teacher etc.

Requirements

• Clear background and fingerprinting checks (reimbursement provided upon working with iKids)
• Reliable, independent transportation (multiple sites)
• Instructor pay range is $15-$17.00
• Work Hours are 2:30 PM until 5 / 6:00 PM
• iKids instructors work from 6 to 15 hours per week (no weekends)
• Weekly schedule follows the 2026-2027 Austin elementary calendar

Qualifications

• Experience with children (babysitting, tutoring, monitoring, childcare)

Pay

Instructor pay range is $15-$17.00

Schedule

Work Hours are 2:30 PM until 5 / 6:00 PM
iKids instructors work from 6 to 15 hours per week (no weekends)
Weekly schedule follows the 2026-2027 Austin elementary calendar
