About the Role
Kidvento is seeking a passionate and innovative Academic Facilitator (STEM/Robotics Trainer) to inspire and mentor school students in STEM education. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in coding, electronics, IoT, and robotics, with the ability to make learning engaging through hands-on activities with robots, drones, and science projects.
Compensation: 3 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs per annum. Experience: 0 to 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive STEM and Robotics sessions for school students, making complex concepts accessible and exciting.
- Teach concepts of robotics, coding, and 3D printing using practical, project-based approaches.
- Guide students in STEM competitions and innovation challenges.
- Develop lesson plans and hands-on activities that ignite curiosity and foster problem-solving.
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotics kits, drones, and lab equipment.
- Collaborate with school faculty to enhance and integrate STEM education programs into existing curriculums.
- Plan and conduct coding activities to enhance student understanding.
- Mentor students in coding, technology, and innovation, ensuring a safe and supportive lab environment.
- Stay current with trends in coding, robotics, and STEM education, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Participate in research, professional development, and educational initiatives to advance STEM learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees or STEAM certifications are a plus.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience, especially in STEM/Robotics, is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Arduino, microcontrollers, drones, AI, and coding platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, web/app development, and electronics.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex topics to young learners, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for education, innovation, and inspiring the next generation of problem solvers.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in ongoing professional development.
