Steel Shop Fabricator/Welder

Join a dynamic team at Steelworks Industries where innovation meets craftsmanship. We are seeking a skilled Steel Shop Fabricator/Welder to join our cutting-edge fabrication department.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and weld steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Operate various welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene torches.
• Inspect work for quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in fabrication or welding.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in using welding equipment and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Welding certifications preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Skills

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene welding techniques.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy, including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay

$20-$25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
