Position Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of steel erection crews.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project goals.
- Train and mentor crew members.
Requirements
- Experience in the bulk handling industry is preferred.
- Prominent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and TWIC card.
Preferred Experience
- Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of work experience as a steel erection supervisor at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
