Steel Erection Ironworker

About the role

Responsible for erecting steel structures according to blueprints and safety guidelines. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect steel beams, columns, and other structural components using cranes and other equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least 2 years of related experience in steel erection or similar field.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction practices.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
