Job Duties
- Work closely with medical school colleagues including deans, directors, faculty, and staff to conduct statistical analyses and generate reports.
- Apply standard statistical methods to provide analysis, data management, and related support for program evaluation, performance assessment, education research, and accreditation activities at BCM.
- Analyze and report quantitative and qualitative assessment data in a competence-based medical education program.
- Supervise the routine tabulation of data as well as edit and analyze the final material in the form of reports and records, including detail and summary tables, graphs, charts, and narratives. Communicate data analysis findings concisely and effectively to stakeholders including medical school deans, directors, and school committees.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses from both large and small samples of data to support research studies.
- Effectively utilize databases and other data collection and storage platforms.
- Support ongoing functions of the EAR team, including proctoring exams.
- Perform other job related duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, MIS, or related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Doctoral degree in a related field.
- Two years of experience in higher education or a healthcare training program.
- Experience with education data platforms (e.g., LMS, RedCap, Power BI dashboard, etc.).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to flourish in a team-oriented position.
- Comfort dealing with uncertainty in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
