Statistician

For our client, a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space, this role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical aspects of product discovery and development activities across diverse teams
• Develop and implement experimental plans and study designs for data-driven decision making
• Provide guidance on data collection and visualization tools for scientists
• Support non-clinical development activities including assay and process validation
• Collaborate actively in group meetings and adhere to departmental standards

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or related field with extensive statistical training and 6+ years of industry experience; OR MS with 10+ years of industry experience
• Proficient in statistical analysis software such as PC-SAS, JMP, and R
• Solid background in experimental design and analysis, quality by design (QbD), and assay/process validation
• Experience in developing and validating medical devices and pharmaceutical products
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and coach junior peers

Pay

$128,000 – $177,000 annually
