Statistical Analyst I

This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to develop expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, reporting, and dashboarding while working alongside experienced analytics professionals.

Responsibilities

• Gain a working knowledge of AG data sources, data structures, analytical tools, and business operations.
• Execute standard reporting and analytical processes under the guidance of an I&A Director.
• Assist with analytical projects and tasks to develop proficiency in data interpretation, statistical analysis, and reporting using tools such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, and Power BI.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project documentation, methodologies, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with an I&A Director and Senior/Master Statistical Analysts to communicate project objectives, status updates, and findings to internal stakeholders.
• Analyze data and summarize findings to support business decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Required Length & Type of Experience: Previous experience through summer internship, part-time work or college experience assisting students in statistical analysis or mathematical programming problems at a computer/consulting center will be helpful in qualifying for this position but is not essential, provided that other requirements are satisfied.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Some quantitative skills and the ability to apply statistical/data analysis techniques. Some computer skills including SQL, R, Python, Microsoft Excel, etc. Accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in a quantitative analysis field with some knowledge of analytic computing/programming.
