Responsibilities
- Operates equipment including starting and stopping chillers, boilers, pumps, air handlers, air compressors, exhaust fans, etc.
- Monitors, schedules, and makes adjustments on Building Management Systems such as Johnson Controls Metasys Extended Architecture, Automated Building Systems, Tridium Niagara & Trane Summit Control.
- Checks equipment operation in all buildings, performs preventative maintenance, conducts weekly building checks, and creates work orders for outside scope repairs.
- Adjustments and HVAC issues, dispatching work to engineers as needed.
- Monitors the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), scheduling work orders and work assignments.
Requirements
- Valid Unlimited First Class Stationary Engineer's License from the City of Tulsa.
- Previous Central Plant operating experience in institutional or industrial settings such as hospitals or universities.
- Experience operating high-pressure boilers, variable speed motors, large tonnage centrifugal chillers (800+ tons), plate heat exchangers, and water treatment systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and control schematics.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, stooping, and lifting overhead.
- Able to perform in environments with odors and adverse conditions.
- Good vision, hearing, and communication skills necessary for safety and instructions.
