Station General Manager - BFD

About the Role

SkyWest Airlines, the largest independently owned regional airline, is seeking a General Manager to lead a team of airline professionals in Bradford, PA. This role is crucial in providing an excellent customer experience, maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and motivation to all station personnel
• Oversee daily flights and operational efficiency
• Maintain effective communication with SkyWest departments, vendors, airport authorities, partner agencies, and associated agencies
• Manage station budgets, accounting practices, inventory, and training requirements
• Ensure compliance with all SkyWest policies, procedures, and partner operating standards
• Responsible for compliance with all governing rules and regulations regarding safety and security in the airline industry

Qualifications

• Prior management or supervisory experience within an airline's ground-handling operation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for leadership and customer service, with strong people and employee relations skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Ability to travel for company business and training meetings
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more consistently, with or without reasonable accommodation
• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• General knowledge and understanding of SkyWest Airlines’ policies and procedures

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience

Additional Information

This is a full-time position. Moving and/or relocation assistance may apply and will be discussed during the interview. Salary will be commensurate with experience and city classification.
