State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at Life Care Centers of America. Our company is a 47-year industry leader with over 200 locations across the U.S., dedicated to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Provide direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State.
• Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.

Qualifications

• Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Skills

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Benefits

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions, $2,500 sign-on bonus for part-time positions.
• Shift differentials: $1/hour for shifts from 6am-2pm, $3/hour for shifts from 2pm-10pm.
• $1/hour attendance bonus for all shifts.

Pay

• Hourly rates vary based on shift and location.

Schedule

• Shifts available from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm.
