About the role
The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing, and instructing based on the needs of each child and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.
- Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
- Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
- Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards, and Pre-K program requirements.
- Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, or related degree.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- At least 18 years of age.

Pay
Compensation based on position, education, and experience. Bi-weekly and daily pay options starting at $22.00/hour.
Schedule
Monday through Friday work week.
Effective January 1, 2024, successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment.
