State Inspector and Emissions Inspector

About the role

State Inspector in an automotive service environment, working alongside ASE Certified technicians to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct state safety and emissions inspections ethically, following all guidelines.
• Complete vehicle services such as tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotation, and oil changes.
• Identify and report vehicle safety or repair needs during basic services.
• Safely operate company vehicle for transporting customers and parts.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Observe vehicle conditions.
• Follow safety procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Virginia State Inspection Certification and Emissions license.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR record.
• Must be at least 18 years old and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
