State Fair Booth Subscription Team Member

Responsibilities

• Selling subscriptions
• Engaging with fair attendees
• Aiding customers with sign-up and subscription inquiries
• Restocking merchandise
• Maintaining a clean and organized booth area

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with Minnesota Star Tribune readers and fair attendees
• Willingness to learn basic onsite technology troubleshooting and use provided training materials
• Ability to quickly learn Star Tribune subscription offerings and talking points
• Able to work in a counter-height booth for up to 7 hours per day
• Able to lift 20–40 lbs.
• Available for at least 10 of 12 fair days, including weekends, with shifts between 8:45 a.m. and 9:15 p.m.
• Able to be at least 18 years of age
• Flexible, adaptable, and reliable in a fast-paced environment
• Currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status

Compensation

The hourly compensation for this position is $16.50/hour.
