State and Local Tax Financial Services Manager

About the role

The role involves providing tax advisory services to Financial Services clients, focusing on issues related to abandoned and unclaimed property, income and franchise tax, payroll and employment tax, credits and incentives, and indirect tax. The Manager leads and develops teams, manages client service accounts, and drives assigned client engagement workstreams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation
• 4 years of experience
• CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Qualifications

• Master's Degree preferred
• Broad knowledge in partnership tax compliance
• Proficiency in tax return production and audit defense
• Proficiency in tax consulting and structuring
• Client relationship management skills
• Proven leadership in supervising and coaching teams
