What You Will Be Doing
- Propel daily execution and momentum across your assigned student portfolio via standups, coaching, and accountability frameworks.
- Lead weekly 1:1 coaching conversations and daily check-ins that enable students to navigate obstacles and sustain forward progress.
- Track student performance in FounderOS, flag stalled momentum early, and arrange support resources as necessary.
- Facilitate connections between students and mentors, founders, operators, and opportunities that drive accelerated growth.
- Organize workshops, events, and community activities that deepen culture and elevate performance expectations.
- Demonstrate practical AI application and support students in embedding AI into their businesses, workflows, and decision-making.
- Accompany students on 3-4 school trips annually.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Delivering in-depth strategic business consulting as students develop their companies.
- Tolerating performance below a student's proven capabilities.
- Teaching traditional academic subjects.
- Facilitating workshops beyond your area of competence.
- Offering generic resources or introductions that fail to meet Founders School quality standards.
Basic Requirements
- 3+ years in leadership or high-impact individual contributor positions within startups, growth-stage organizations, or comparably rigorous environments.
- Comfort engaging in entrepreneurial discussions and recognizing when specialized expertise is required.
- A standout capability beyond coaching: workshop design, event planning, content development, community cultivation, relationship building, or another equally impactful skill.
- Skill in delivering challenging feedback that enhances motivation and elevates performance.
- Regular use of AI tools with concrete examples demonstrating how AI enhances your output.
- Willingness to work on-site in New York City (relocation assistance available).
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Lauunched or co-launched a business.
- Background coaching, mentoring, or managing programs for teenagers or young adults.
- An established network of founders, operators, investors, or mentors.
- Early-stage startup exposure where you managed multiple responsibilities and created systems from the ground up.

Working with us
- This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
- The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
