Starting Pigs Specialist

Responsibilities & Duties

• Train & assist farm staff during the nursery stage of production: Preplacement site inspections, Initial stocking plans, Sorting & Treating, Mat & Gruel Feeding
• Ability to troubleshoot & adjust heating & ventilation systems.
• Assessing health issues and the ability to perform on farm diagnostics

Requirements

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Prior swine management experience.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
