Job Summary

Pine Trace is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our exceptional team as Starters and Rangers. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

We welcome and train all experience levels. As a Starter and Ranger, your daily duties will include: - Provide outstanding customer service to all guests. - Manage the guest experience at the tee, including greeting guests, checking tee times and player counts, and directing groups to the correct starting tees. - Monitor and manage the pace of play, accurately recording start, turn, and finish times for golfers. - Perform essential cart staff duties during the spring and fall seasons, such as staging and cleaning golf carts.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for applicants who are: - Friendly and Outgoing: Able to interact positively with guests and staff. - Self-Motivated: Proactive in identifying and completing tasks without constant supervision. - A Team Player: Willing to collaborate closely with Pro Shop and Cart staff. - Detail-Oriented: Able to efficiently handle multiple support tasks in a timely manner. - Ability to use a tablet: Basic to intermediate technology knowledge.

Qualifications

- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including morning, afternoon, evening, and some weekend shifts. - Experience: Prior experience in golf and customer service is preferred. - High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Often compared to the finest Northern Michigan courses, Pine Trace offers a natural setting that feels both secluded and timeless. Pine Trace is preparing for an exciting reopening in Spring 2026 following a major course renovation. As we complete improvements to our tees, greens, fairways, cart paths, irrigation, drainage, and practice facilities—along with the opening of our full-service restaurant—we are building a team that will help bring the Pine Trace experience to life.
