As a Starbucks Lead Barista, you'll guide and support your team through each shift, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service. You'll take orders, craft beverages with care, and maintain a positive, upbeat energy, to deliver the warm and welcoming experience our guests love.

What you will be doing:
- Supervise staff in the manager's absence and train new team members.
- Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers, preparing Starbucks beverages to standard.
- Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
- Ascertain guest satisfaction; in the event of dissatisfaction, tactfully negotiate an accommodation.
- Comply with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, cash drawer and house bank management.
- Balance house bank at the end of the shift.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard outlet cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
What we are looking for:
- Previous Barista experience is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to learn all menu items and up-selling techniques.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, count total bank, prepare cash drops, and total all other charges.
- Ability to effectively resolve conflict situations, such as inaccurate check total.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, and communicate with guests.
- Ability to operate keyboard and Point of Sale procedures to handle cashier functions.
