Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing quality handcrafted beverages and food throughout all operating hours.
• Maintain and execute Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Manage food quality and freshness, and adhere to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure timely fulfillment of digital guest orders.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests.
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards.
• Complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control.
• Operate independently and as part of a team to deliver efficient service.

Requirements

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• A welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Qualifications

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Reliable and prompt attendance necessary.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties.
• Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).

Skills

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture in Starbucks.
• Experience with food quality and freshness management.
• Knowledge of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
