As a Starbucks Barista at Target, you'll be part of a team that ensures a fresh, full, and food-safe shopping experience for our guests. You'll work in a fun and energetic environment, providing exceptional guest service and creating handcrafted beverages and food. Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests, prioritizing their needs, and providing quality handcrafted beverages and food.
• Uphold and maintain Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, and cleaning.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and ensure the Starbucks space is clean and organized.
• Follow proper packaging, labeling, and food safety guidelines.
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items and complete cleaning tasks.
• Engage with guests, offering assistance and tailoring your approach based on their needs.
• Complete required Starbucks trainings related to quality control.
• Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up duties.

Requirements

• Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Remain composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle cash register operations.
• Climb up and down ladders and lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, including spaces with common allergens.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Skills

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture.
• Knowledge of food quality and freshness management.
• Understanding of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Experience with Starbucks beverage and food preparation.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16.50 USD per hour.
