Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing quality handcrafted beverages and food throughout all operating hours.
  • Maintain and execute Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety guidelines.
  • Manage food quality and freshness, and adhere to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure timely fulfillment of digital orders.
  • Maintain an inviting dining area for guests and engage with them to meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Respond to guest needs promptly and effectively, using body language and verbal cues to tailor interactions.
  • Follow proper packaging and labeling guidelines for food products and adhere to food safety requirements.
  • Execute sampling best practices and complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control.
  • Operate independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Requirements

  • Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
  • A welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequencies and operate various devices and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F.
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other conditions.
  • Ability to remain mobile throughout a shift.

Skills

  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and ability to build a guest-first culture.
  • Experience with food quality and freshness management.
  • Understanding of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequencies and operate various devices and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
