Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing quality handcrafted beverages and food throughout all operating hours.
- Maintain and execute Food and Beverage Standards, Starbucks brand standards, and food safety guidelines.
- Manage food quality and freshness, and adhere to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure timely fulfillment of digital orders.
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests and engage with them to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Respond to guest needs promptly and effectively, using body language and verbal cues to tailor interactions.
- Follow proper packaging and labeling guidelines for food products and adhere to food safety requirements.
- Execute sampling best practices and complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control.
- Operate independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Requirements
- Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
- A welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members.
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequencies and operate various devices and equipment.
- Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
Qualifications
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F.
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other conditions.
- Ability to remain mobile throughout a shift.
Skills
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and ability to build a guest-first culture.
- Experience with food quality and freshness management.
- Understanding of state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequencies and operate various devices and equipment.
- Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
