Responsibilities

  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
  • Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a warm and welcoming environment during each shift.
  • Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
  • Discovers and responds to customer needs.
  • Fulfills cash register and credit card machine operations.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that associates can locate resources and product as needed.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Physical requirements: Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds; Ability to stand during entire shift; Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work.
  • General Requirements: Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times; Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with fellow associates and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner; Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests; Must be able to multitask and prioritize to ensure outstanding service.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance, uniform and grooming.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Must be available to work some weekends.
