Starbucks Barista, Big Meadows Lodge

About the role

The opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Starbucks Barista to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Barista, you will provide the Starbucks Experience to our guests by delivering prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

Responsibilities

• Act with guest service excellence, integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks.
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for guests.
• Maintain a calm demeanor to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
• Absorb and assist with new team member training.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation guidelines and operational policies and procedures during each shift.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• No experience or diploma required.

Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of the shift.
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Customer service skills.

• Basic computer skills.
