Starbucks Barista

About the role

Crouse Health's Starbucks team is hiring a Starbucks Barista to provide high-quality beverages and food products, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Baristas work as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations while upholding both Crouse Health and Starbucks' mission and values.

Schedule

Full-Time, 1:00pm–9:30pm with weekend rotation (possible in the future), holidays & other shifts as needed.

Pay

$19.64 – $25.05 / hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and food items according to Starbucks standards.
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Recommend products and answer customer questions.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, dining area, and workstations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Restock inventory, supplies, and food items as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations.
• Create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) year of customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
