About the role

Arlington/Roe, a family-owned property/casualty wholesaler and managing general agency since 1964, seeks a Broker within their Healthcare and Human Services/Standard Business team. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Produce, analyze risks, and manage a book of business with primary emphasis on writing new business.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers, clients, carriers, and industry personnel.
• Market Standard Business products to retail agents and generate new business.
• Conduct agency visits to cultivate relationships and uncover opportunities.
• Negotiate the best terms and coverages available with accessible markets while providing clear communication to producers.
• Collaborate with retail agents in making sales presentations to insureds and research accounts to generate sales leads.
• Maintain new business growth via production goals and renewals.
• Work effectively within the Standard Business team and across department lines.
• Mentor and develop staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Healthcare and Human Services/Standard Business-related insurance coverages recommended.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent presentation and organizational abilities.
• Growth and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to deliver client-focused solutions and create long-lasting relationships.
• Comfortable working with dynamic & diverse customers and handling personalities and situations with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
• Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
