Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Requirements
- Filling customer orders using RF scanner and/or voice-directed picking systems
- Operating stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Checking and counting all products before loading onto trucks
- Ensuring products are free of damage and meet quality standards
- Verifying production code dates and proper product rotation
- Ensuring quantity, labeling, and order accuracy meet customer specifications
- Maintaining productivity and accuracy in a performance-driven environment
Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment
- Basic math skills
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse systems
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs consistently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience
- Warehouse/distribution center experience
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Order selection (case picking) experience preferred
