About the role

As a Stagehand/Sound Technician / DJ at Club Med, you will oversee the technical and operational quality of all light and sound needs of the resort. You will broadcast music for shows and events, set up lighting for theatre shows and events throughout the resort, and provide hands-on technical support for both lights and sound.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical and operational quality of all of the light and sound needs of the resort.
  • Broadcast music for shows and events.
  • Set up lighting for theatre shows and events throughout the resort.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for both lights and sound.
  • Take part in the purchasing of material related to the Events Department and the management of stocks.
  • Perform regular checks and inventory of equipment.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to lead a small technical team.
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding.
  • Keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Proficient in lighting and audio techniques.
  • Proven record of efficient managing resources and equipment.
  • Ability and desire to take the initiative to develop the Events Department to its full operational potential.
  • The knowledge to identify the causes of technical problems and suggest effective and creative ways to solve them.
  • Able to operate Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to anticipate and identify risk management issues pertaining to all technical equipment and report to appropriate person.
