ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aid during work calls for venue conversions.
• Aid during load-in, show, and load-out calls for the assembly and disassembly of show productions.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Assemble production equipment on stage.
• Construct set pieces, risers, musical equipment.
• Spotlight operation during shows for qualified personnel.
• Aid with video, sound and light production before, during and after shows for qualified personnel.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all equipment, from both venue and events.
• Be punctual at start times/dates for all assigned and accepted calls; and work until the completion of each call.
• Stand ready to assist the venue Production and Operations departments to meet changing venue needs.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to operate industry related equipment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision, prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while exercising judgment and initiative in addressing and completing assigned tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry terms and the ability to operate sound, lighting, audio-visual and other industry related equipment is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from Manager or Designee.
• Must be able to communicate in a clear manner with Production staff and teammates.
• Personable and proactive in completing tasks safely and effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English language.
• Ability to utilize two-way radio.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, interacting with multiple departments.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk/stand extensively, bend, kneel, climb stairs, balance, and maneuver throughout the various areas and surfaces of the venue.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.
• Work inside and outside the building is required and may have some exposure to adverse conditions.
• Must be able to hear and speak to use a two-way radio.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
