Stagehand

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Stagehand at the Legends Global Stockton Complex.

Responsibilities

• Operates specialized audio, lighting, video, and rigging equipment
• Uses specialized programs and equipment in live productions
• Sets up and strikes events
• Implements and ensures all requirements listed in Technical Riders are met for each event
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Production Coordinator
• Completes all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrates proper knowledge and use of procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment, and tools in the technical services field
• Possesses knowledge and experience in operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services, and technical support requirements
• Meets physical demands, including mobility around the facility, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from heights, and tolerating moderate to loud noises
• Experience with setup and operation of audio consoles, lighting consoles, video switchers, and personnel lifts
• Able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Works effectively under pressure and stringent schedules to produce accurate results
• Maintains effective working relationships with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others
• High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in the field
• Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $21.10.
