About the role

This role is the backbone of every live show, ensuring seamless load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment, assisting audio and lighting crews, and preparing the stage for performances. You’ll work closely with the Stage Manager to secure passes, manage guest lists, handle cabling, and coordinate set changes. From hanging banners and updating marquees to maintaining backline equipment and ensuring the stage is safe and clean, you’ll play a critical part in bringing live music to life.

Responsibilities

  • Perform load-in and load-out of band equipment and rental gear
  • Secure required passes and tickets; prepare guest lists under the direction of the Stage Manager
  • Assist with cabling, audio, and lighting crew tasks as directed
  • Execute band set changes and ensure performers have all required items for the show
  • Communicate event details to the production crew
  • Hang show banners, update marquees, and manage venue signage
  • Coordinate food trays for the band in the Music Hall
  • Operate spotlights if required and assist lighting/audio crews as directed
  • Maintain and repair sound, light, and stage equipment
  • Assist with show passes under the Stage Manager’s direction
  • Maintain and secure House Backline and supplies
  • Manage curtains, drapes, risers, and other staging items
  • Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  • Assist lighting crew with fixtures, lamps, gels, and cabling
  • Operate and care for stage areas in a safe, clean manner
  • Support Special Events operations as needed
  • Ensure stage trash is removed and the area is prepped for the next show

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Tour and Stage Production experience
  • Experience with stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
  • Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma (College Degree preferred)

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels
