About the role
Responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by managing technical aspects of the show(s) production. This includes load-in/out of band equipment and rental equipment, securing passes and guest lists, cabling, band set changes, communication of event details, banner hanging, signage updates, food tray coordination, and assisting with lighting and audio crews. Maintenance and repair of sound, light, and stage equipment are also part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Perform load-in/out of band equipment and rental equipment
- Secure required passes and prepare guest lists under the direction of the stage manager
- Cable and assist audio/lighting crew as directed
- Ensure band members have necessary items for performance
- Communicate event details to production crew
- Hang show banners, update marquees, and manage signage
- Coordinate food trays for the band in the Music Hall
- Auxiliary lighting operations if required
- Maintain and secure house backline and supplies
- Maintain curtains, drapes, risers, and other staging items
- Assist audio and lighting crews with equipment and cabling
- Operate and maintain stage areas safely and clean
- Take out stage trash; set up for next show when possible
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years tour and stage production experience
- Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma preferred, college degree preferred
Physical Demands/Working Environment
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels
