Staffing Specialist

About the Role

Responsible for being the main point of contact for employees at assigned customers. This role handles onboarding, hours collection, and either payroll or immigration tasks to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processes.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard employees following Epitec and customer requirements.
  • Respond to and assist with various I-9 and E-Verify issues.
  • Maintain highly organized employee files.
  • Interact with various outside entities, including clients, background companies, drug testing companies, and governmental agencies.
  • Understand, explain, and document complex customer contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, HR, IT, Sales, and Recruiting to address employee/candidate issues.
  • Send email reminders to field consultants missing hours from Epilink.
  • Follow up with phone calls to field consultants to confirm work status.
  • Complete hour tie-outs with client system data to ensure logged hours match the Epilink system.
  • Collect approved timesheets for employees who do not use a client system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong oral communication skills to speak clearly in positive or negative situations.
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain confidentiality and remain open to others' ideas.
  • Written communication skills to edit work for spelling/grammar, present numerical data, and interpret written information.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle high-volume cases effectively.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer and employee service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Above-average competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
