This role contributes to our success by ensuring the ongoing scheduling of appropriate services for all requests for homemaking, personal care, and home health aide services in a timely manner. You’ll help develop an amazing team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare providers, making a difference in the lives of more than 60,000 patients daily.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule planned and unplanned absences for homemaking, personal care, and home health aide services in accordance with established procedures.
  • Manage all clients without an attendant (CWA), holds, and updates per Elara Caring protocol, ensuring regulatory documentation is submitted timely for services not delivered or delayed start of care.
  • Report CWA weekly to the team and follow up with clients, documenting touch bases in Arrow.
  • Submit 2067 (client communication form) as required.
  • Complete all compliance items in Arrow for tracking new hire status.
  • Update attendant availability as required.
  • Ensure compliance with 3040 and perform verbal orientations (if qualified); coordinate verbal orientations between attendants and qualified staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of current and prospective schedules for all caregivers.
  • Connect with CWA clients weekly to keep them informed of staffing actions.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Employment or personal experience providing an understanding of the issues and needs of the elderly or disabled.
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced office is preferred.
  • Access to public transportation or a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese), Russian, or Portuguese may be required as needed.

You will report to the Lead Staffing Specialist or Director of Operations.
