About the role
This position has two (2) roles: Part-time Staffing Coordinator and Part-time Central Supply Director. Must be a certified nursing assistant.
Pay
$28–$33/hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for nursing staff in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Schedule facility staff at levels determined by the Director of Nursing/Education Director.
- Prepare all shift schedules and communicate clearly to staff.
- Understand state requirements and forecasting needs.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
- Assist in the evacuation of patients.
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior staff scheduling in health care preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Functional knowledge in the field of practice.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledge of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility.
- Ability to implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
- Maintain professional working relationships with associates and vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and/or confidential information.
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
- Adhere to Life Care’s Code of Conduct and complete mandatory training.
