About the role
We are hiring for a Staffing Coordinator position at RHA Health Services. This role involves working with RHA recruiters and local operations leadership to source candidates and ensure an ideal candidate experience through the hiring process. It also includes administrative functions for a region, supervising personnel functions, and supporting people we serve.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates candidate interview, onboarding process, and staff solutions with the Director and/or Administrator.
- Works with RHA recruiters and local operations leadership to source candidates and work towards an ideal candidate experience through the hiring experience.
- Supports people we serve and creates opportunities to choose their staff.
- Maintains personnel files by filing documents timely, ensuring the files are kept confidential and retained in compliance with the Record Retention Policy.
- Supervises and delivers various personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, communication, job changes, and file/records management.
- Affords assistance in employee relations activities, acting as a reference for personnel policies. Works with Administrator/Director and Corporate HR on employee matters.
- Coordinates employee training and development, including assisting in new employee orientation, scheduling and confirming training for staff, maintaining training database, informing supervisors when employees need additional training and annual certifications, preparing training reports, setting up CBT trainings, informing the Director and VPs of expired and past due training, instructing employees in completing on-line as well as self-paced courses as appropriate.
- Collaborates with RHA Recruiters to maintain scope of vacancy and recruiting efforts. Maintains Workday job profiles for open positions. Ensures all employees meet the company conditions of employment. Participates in career fairs, open houses, college recruiting, etc. to reach a diverse set of candidates, as needed.
- Completes all credentialing for each licensed staff hired per company policy.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred, not required.
- Experience: Training or Credentialing experience preferred.
- Travel: May be required, greater than 1 hour, depending on their proximity to the assigned units.
Skills
- Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and speak in front of a group, respond to questions from employees, people supported, government officials and the general public.
- Mathematical (Professional): Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Fundamentals of math such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions and reading charts and graphs as applicable to practical situations. Ability to read financial statements, apply basic financial ratios and reasoning to interpret and project conditions.
- Reasoning (Professional): Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, diagrams and deal with several abstract and concrete variables at the same time.
