Staffing Coordinator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing nursing department work schedules for each calendar month.
• Find call-in replacements as needed.
• Maintain facility PPDs, budgets, and work to control overtime.
• Fill out and post daily pars as per regulations.
• Maintain inter-departmental communication to effectively carry out duties.

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Internet, and Intranet navigation.
• A demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• The ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment.
• A customer service-oriented approach with the ability to work well and meet deadlines.
• A strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions.
• An approachable, flexible, and adaptable demeanor to changes.
• The ability to function independently, work effectively with employees and vendors, and have personal integrity.
