Staff Technical Program Manager, Robotics and Automation

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority bridging internal teams with external partners (vendors).
• Hold all parties accountable to complex milestones, mitigate integration risks, and ensure alignment with strict architectural standards.
• Own technical execution of major strategic rollouts and refine New Product Introduction (NPI) practices.
• Drive consistency and quality from concept through global deployment to impact organizational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Translate ambiguous scenarios into data-driven roadmaps and white papers.
• Provide executive visibility and technical authority across supply chain and engineering networks.
• Partner with engineering leads to define system architectures and expand automated solutions using AI/ML to solve problems.
• Lead by influence, mentoring team members and breaking down complex challenges while contributing to community initiatives to improve operations and culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 8 years of experience in robotics, advanced manufacturing, or global supply chain NPI.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience managing a program portfolio and expanding hardware solutions within highly secure, mission-critical environments.
• Experience driving organizational change management and leveraging AI/ML technologies for operational efficiency.

Pay

US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
