What you'll do

  • Identify, scope, and lead strategic projects that advance Pinterest's platform and infrastructure.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured plans, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Shape and influence product and platform roadmaps, leveraging data and technical expertise to guide decisions.
  • Build scalable processes and best practices, enhancing organizational agility and efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and communication, ensuring clear visibility into project priorities, status, risks, and decisions.
  • Take full responsibility for program outcomes, ensuring measurable delivery through rigorous planning, risk mitigation, and follow-through.
  • Represent program interests at the highest levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Technical Program Manager with 8+ years of TPM or related experience, typically holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Working understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and data systems, with knowledge of compute platforms and optimization of AWS resources.
  • Strong ability to analyze organizational context, anticipate future scenarios, and shape program roadmaps aligned with company-level strategy and OKRs.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior and executive leadership, representing program interests at the highest levels, and building trusted relationships across disciplines and organizations.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and risk mitigation skills, using data and innovative approaches to navigate complexity and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Experience creating and driving efficient, scalable processes and best practices that increase organizational agility.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to distill technical concepts for diverse audiences and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in workflow design and AI fluency, including experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms.

Pay

$145,747—$300,067 USD

Schedule

This role requires in-office collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months. Position is eligible for equity and relocation assistance.

We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months and can be situated anywhere in the country.
