About the Opportunity
The Staff Team Member Relations Partner role is focused on providing strategic guidance and expert support on complex team member relations matters across the global organization. This position leads sensitive investigations, coaches leadership on workplace issues, and collaborates with legal and HR partners to develop solutions that improve the team member experience while mitigating organizational risk. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and influences policies and programs that shape team member relations at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead sensitive investigations from intake through resolution, including conducting interviews, analyzing data, writing reports, and recommending actions.
- Advise and coach leaders on complex team member relations and performance management issues, balancing business and organizational risk.
- Develop proactive programs to prevent workplace concerns.
- Collaborate with Legal and People Business Partners to assess cases and align on approaches.
- Contribute to policy development, application, and revision to support organizational scaling.
- Analyze case trends to provide insights that inform programs, policies, and risk management.
- Lead initiatives within the department and across the organization, incorporating feedback and working with cross-functional partners.
- Provide guidance on global team member relations policies by interpreting employment laws across jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Significant experience in team member or employee relations, including leading complex, multi-party workplace investigations independently.
- Knowledge of United States employment laws relevant to team member relations.
- Experience in distributed, multi-jurisdictional, or global organizations with varied regulatory and cultural environments.
- Proven ability to influence change and build support across functions and leadership without direct authority.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including thorough and defensible investigation reporting.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and empathy in handling sensitive workplace matters.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, business judgment, and attention to detail.
- Professional HR certification preferred but not required; experience with employment laws outside the U.S. is beneficial.
